Our Story

Esna (Pvt) Ltd, which had its beginnings as Shermans, was rebranded as Esna (Pvt) Ltd under the new Companies Act 7 of 2007.

Esna has always been a company that focuses on truly innovative business opportunities in Sri Lanka, with substantial investments in tea, power, leisure, renewable energy, shipping, logistics, exports, fuel bunkering, lubricants, mining, and local banking and finance. Esna has an expansive portfolio of subsidiary companies functioning in a wide range of industry divisions, and it continues to broaden its corporate interests.

The ESNA Brand has established a strong presence in business communities across Sri Lanka, and the world, with over 5000 employees and a great reputation for each of its SBUs (Strategic business units).
